Success Story: Grunt

Success Story: Grunt

Hi, I’m Grunt—a 3-year-old Lab/Pitbull mix with a big heart and some pretty sensitive ears.

I live with my mom in our car in La Verne, CA. We’ve been experiencing homelessness for a few years, but through it all, I’ve stayed right by her side as her service animal, supporting her emotionally and physically since I was just a pup.

Not long ago, my mom noticed something wasn’t right—my ears were hurting again. She knows me so well and caught it quickly. Since Feeding Pets of the Homeless had helped us before, she reached out again for support.

The vet confirmed it was another nasty ear infection. It took a few appointments—including two follow-ups—but now I’m back to feeling like myself again!

Huge thanks to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for contributing $1,058 toward my vet care. You helped me heal and keep doing what I do best: taking care of my mom.
