Find a Pet Food Donation Site

Our pet food donation site volunteers support our objective of collecting pet food and pet supplies. They are working with pet food providers who have agreed to distribute pet food in those communities.

Make a Donation

Your donation can make the lives of these pets a little easier. Each day is a struggle for those experiencing homelessness, and their pets have little recourse. We are their voice, and you can be their hero.

Become a Sponsor

If providing support for pets of the homeless and ensuring access to emergency veterinary care is important to your company or organization, please consider sponsoring Feeding Pets of the Homeless. As a dedicated nonprofit organization, we rely on grants, sponsors, and donations to help pets in need across the nation.  Importantly, we do not receive any government funding, so your support is crucial.

Evidence shows that animal companionship is fortifying and contributes to the emotional well-being of people experiencing homelessness, including encouraging owners to obtain sobriety, leave abusive relationships, and avoid incarceration.

Hi, we’re Pixie Rose and François Bourgeois. We live in California with our mom. Life hasn’t been easy, and we move from place to place. Sometimes we stay with friends, and sometimes we sleep on the streets. No matter what, we stay together, and our mom makes sure we are loved and cared for.Lately, both of us started having trouble breathing. We were coughing, and our chests didn’t sound right. My eyes were watering constantly, and I was feeling pretty run down. Our mom was worried, so she reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for help. After a quick intake and verification process, they scheduled a vet visit for us.At the clinic, the vet diagnosed us both with respiratory infections. They took X-rays to make sure we didn’t have anything more serious going on, and then sent us on our way with antibiotics. I’m already starting to feel better. So is my brother. We’re back to cuddling with our mom and exploring with more energy each day.💙 Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $658 toward our care.📩 A message from our mom:"Here’s a photo of Pixie Rose and François Bourgeois attached. She’s a tuxedo that is super friendly but very shy to start and loves to watch the world from the window or go for walks in her special bag or stroller. He is a Lynxpoint Siamese packed with energy and thinks no means yes. He’s strong-willed and determined to set the rules his way. He’s a loving cuddle bug who cozies up at night or sits on my lap during the day. He’s also shy with strangers and friends. Thanks again!"Your donation helps pets like us get the care we need and stay with the people who love us most. ... See MoreSee Less
