Carson City, Nevada – Feeding Pets of the Homeless, the first nonprofit organization dedicated to providing pet food and emergency veterinary care to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness, proudly announces its 15 Year Anniversary Celebration and Ribbon Cutting event on July 20, 2023, at their offices in Carson City, Nev.
The celebration will begin at 4:30 pm with facility tours and a meet and greet with the board of directors and staff. Community dignitaries will cut a ribbon at the new building at 710 Washington Street in Carson City at 5:15 pm.
Feeding Pets Founder and President, Genevieve Frederick, expressed her excitement about the event, “Our 15 Year Anniversary Celebration and Ribbon Cutting event signifies a significant milestone in our organization’s journey. We are very grateful for the unwavering support from our dedicated volunteers, donors, and community partners who have made it possible for us to serve those in need for the past 15 years. This event is a testament to the impact we have collectively made in improving the lives of both humans and their cherished animal companions.”
The event is open to the public and parking will be from the Mountain Street side. Volunteers will also be on hand to accept donations of dog and cat food.
The celebration will feature refreshments throughout the evening. The occasion will provide an excellent opportunity for supporters to meet, converse and better understand the Feeding Pets mission.
