An advocate for Papi’s homeless guardian called Pets of the Homeless to apply for emergency veterinary care assistance. Papi needed an amputation surgery.

Pets of the Homeless assisted with the maximum allowable benefit for Papi’s amputation surgery which included: anesthesia, pain injections, hospitalization, iv fluids, monitoring, operating room, drain placement, antibiotics, x-rays, bandaging and an e-collar.

Thank you to our generous donors for allowing us to help Papi get the veterinary care he deserves! Here’s a photo of Papi after his surgery.
