Success Story: Tinkerbell

Feeding Pets of the Homeless® first met Tinkerbelle and her family in January 2019 when their bulldog was treated for uncontrollable vomiting. They reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless® again when Tinkerbelle, a red merle Australian shepherd, was attacked by another dog. We contacted our veterinary partner in Arizona to have Tinkerbelle examined. Tinkerbelle required wound repair including a local anesthetic, injections, medications, and staples. Feeding Pets of the Homeless provided $195.12 in treatment and received $77.07 in discounted services.

We checked in on Tinkerbelle a month after treatment and found she is doing great! Her staples and stitches are out, she is all healed, and her parents say they are doing well. They are on the move looking for a place to settle down and trying to find work.
