Success Story: Sasha

Success Story: Sasha

My name is Sasha. I am a 13-year-old Rat Terrier living in Las Vegas, NV with my loving owner. We have been homeless for the past 3 years and currently stay in his vehicle. He is disabled and receives SSI and food stamps but the food stamps don’t cover pet food so he shares his food with me.

My owner noticed I was acting funny. He thought I had something in my throat because I was jerking my head and eating lots of grass.

He knew about Feeding Pets of the Homeless and called them for help. A compassionate case manager helped us get an appointment at a Partner Veterinary Clinic nearby.
They completed an exam and determined I had pancreatitis and would need to be hospitalized with medication.
I am now on my way to recovery with the treatment Feeding Pets of the Homeless approved. They contributed $604 towards my care.

Thanks to donors like you we are able to help pets like Sasha every day. Donate today!
