Pets of the Homeless received a call from a homeless man who lives in a tent with his 100% American Mutt, “Samantha” in Sacramento, CA.  Samantha had been attacked by another dog, 3 or 4 days ago, and possibly had a bone sticking out of her leg.  We approved an examination.

The veterinarian recommended and we assisted with an x-ray, bloodwork, pain and antibiotic injections and medications.
