Success Story: Maguut

Success Story: Maguut

Hi, my name is Maguut. I am a 5-month-old male Husky. I am an emotional support animal living in a vehicle in Tacoma, WA with my mom due to domestic violence.
While on the street, I was attacked by another dog and had extensive damage to my leg.
My mom found and contacted Feeding Pets of the Homeless to try and get some assistance for my injury.
They found a Partner Veterinary Hospital to give me an exam and X-rays. It was determined that I would need surgery to repair the deep laceration to my leg. A splint was put on my fractured leg and over time the fractures should heal. Feeding Pets of the Homeless approved $2,000 for my surgery.

Thank you email from the Veterinary staff-
“The owner and us are so grateful for your generous financial assistance. His owner would have been faced with euthanasia or relinquishment. He is such an emotional support to her right now that this could have easily been a devastating situation if you had not come forward to help! Thank you for saving Maguut!”

Thanks to donors like you we are able to help pets like Maguut every day. Donate today!

"From one animal lover to another."
