A man has been living in a shelter in Los Angeles for the past 2 months. At this time, he does not receive any benefits and is unemployed. He has no transportation and relies on friends for rides.
He reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for his 8-year-old neutered male pug named Lucky. Lucky had been lethargic and not eating much for a few days.
An intake and homeless verification was completed. We got an exam approved at a local veterinary hospital where bloodwork and x-rays were done.
It was undetermined what the main cause of Lucky’s illness was. Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $754.95 towards Lucky’s care.
