A homeless woman has been living on the streets in CA for the past month. She is disabled and receives social security. At this time, she does not receive any other services. She contacted Feeding Pets of the Homeless® because her 10-year-old dog, Lobo, was in need of vaccinations so they could reside at a homeless shelter. She also wanted Lobo to be checked for worms. Intake was completed and homeless verification was provided. An exam was approved at a local animal hospital. Following the exam and deworming, Lobo was given all the necessary vaccinations to enter the shelter. Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed a total of $ 339 towards care and received $33 in partner discount.
