Success Story: Little Girl

Success Story: Little Girl

A homeless woman has been living in her RV for the past three years in Arizona. She does not utilize any public services, has zero income and no form of reliable transportation. She contacted Feeding Pets of the Homeless because her two-year-old female pit bull, Little Girl, had been shot in the paw by another homeless individual at the camp. The dog was in severe pain and bleeding. An intake was completed. Feeding Pets of the Homeless approved an exam at a local veterinary clinic. Following the exam, it was determined that Little Girl would need her leg amputated due to the injury. Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $1,300 towards Little Girl’s surgery.
