Success Story: Finn

Success Story: Finn

Finn and his owner are currently living on the streets in Riverside CA. Finn’s companion has been homeless for the past two years. He does not utilize any services except the food pantry at his local church. He has no income at this time and no transportation. He heard about Feeding pets of the Homeless from his local church. Finn, is an 11-year-old, neutered lab mix. Finn had a very large mass on his paw. An intake interview was completed over the phone and their homeless verification was verified by their local church pastor. An exam was approved at a local Animal Hospital. Following an exam, it was determined that Finn needed to have the mass removed from his paw. Feeding pets of the Homeless approved the following treatment: pain injections, anesthesia, mass removal, blood test and bandages. Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $923 towards Finn’s care. Feeding Pets of the Homeless received discounts for $103 from the hospital.
