Success Story: Dodger

Success Story: Dodger

Hi, my name is Dodger. I am a female 6-year-old rat terrier and my mom and I have been living on the streets of Tacoma, WA.
I was not feeling well, started throwing up blood, and was very unsteady on my feet.
My mom was very worried about me so she took me to a vet, but she did not have the money for an exam, so the vet staff recommended that my mom call Feeding Pets of the Homeless.
They were able to help us and I was able to get an exam, bloodwork and urinalysis.
The veterinarian suspected gastroenteritis.
I was given fluids and medications that were generously donated by the hospital.
With some rest, I should be feeling better very soon.
Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $589 towards my care.
This is a note from the veterinary staff that helped:
We are so grateful for your assistance in keeping their family together and saving Dodger’s life!
