Success Story: Corky

Feeding Pets of the Homeless received a call from a woman in Sonora, CA. She has been living in her vehicle for the past 5 months. When we spoke to her, she shared she only receives unemployment and gets her daily food from a local shelter.

She reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for her 1-year-old Male Chihuahua that was exposed to kennel cough and showing symptoms of the illness. An intake was completed and homeless verification was provided.

We were able to get her an exam at a local partner veterinary hospital.

During Corkyโ€™s exam, it was clear that he was suffering from kennel cough. The veterinarian provided him with medication to take.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $156 towards Corky care.
