Success Story “Chop”

Pets of the Homeless received a call from a homeless woman who stays in a shed outside of her uncle’s house in WA with her dog, Chop, a 5 year old neutered male Pit Bull Terrier.  Chop had a foxtail stuck in his foot.  We approved an examination.

The foxtail required a probe removal.   Pets of the Homeless approved and assisted with the procedure which included: sedation, foxtail probe and removal, bandage and dressing, an e-collar, antibiotics and pain medications.
