Success Story “Chance”

Pets of the Homeless received a call from a homeless woman who lives in a park in Riverside, CA with her 11-month old Pit Bull Terrier, Chance.  Chance had been attacked by another dog and might have a broken front leg.

The veterinarian provided a thorough exam and provided wound cleaning and care.  We assisted with the bite wound procedure and antibiotic injection and medications.  Lori Rich, with Taking it to the Streets, along with Lori and Shira, assisted with donated funds and put Chance and his owner up in a motel for a few nights so Chance could heal.  Photos courtesy of Lori Rich.
