Success Story: Burrito

Success Story: Burrito

A homeless woman called Feeding Pets of the Homeless about her two-year-old female cat, Burrito.  She has been living in her van for about four months in Elk Grove, CA. Burrito was diagnosed with a polyp in her ear that was causing her to constantly spin. She had taken Burrito to a local animal hospital where they prepared an estimate for polyp removal surgery.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless pledged $829 towards Burrito’s care including anesthesia, intravenous fluids and medications, spay while under, polyp removal, nail trim and tape worm medication to go home. We received $97 in discounts.

"From one animal lover to another."
