Success Story: Breaux

Success Story: Breaux

Hello, my name is Breaux, and I am an 18-month-old male Healer/Lab mix. My mom and I have been experiencing homelessness for 6 months in Oregon, living in a shelter.
Recently, I was experiencing some severe ear pain along with black discharge and foul odor.
My mom could not take seeing me in so much discomfort. So, she reached out to our shelter director, who was able to provide us with some resources; Feeding Pets of the Homeless was one on the list.
My mom got on the phone quickly and called the organization. Once intake and homeless verification were completed, we were approved to see the veterinarian the next day.
While at the vet, my ears were cleaned and flushed, and I was given medications and antibiotics to continue my treatment.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed a total of $145 towards Breaux’s care.

Breaux’s story is a testament to the power of compassion and its impact on those in need. They may be just one dog, but to their owner, they are their world. Your support doesn’t just change lives – it saves them. Together, we can ensure that pets like Breaux receive the care they deserve, no matter their obstacles. Donate today!
