Pets of the Homeless September 2018 Newsletter Issue 122

A disabled homeless man who is living in his van in the Springfield, Oregon area called Pets of the Homeless. He camps on his friend’s property, can occasionally use his friend’s restroom, but does all his cooking outside. He called us because he was concerned about his 5-year-old Collie mix, Roper, who is his service animal. He has been homeless for about six months now, and luckily, he found Pets of the Homeless through Facebook and reached out to us seeking help for Roper.
Roper had a raw spot under his belly from licking it too much. He said he had previously put an e-collar on Roper but that did not prevent him from licking the spot. We approved an exam at a new veterinarian network partner. Read more…. Pets of the Homeless Newsletter September 2018
