Louie’s female owner, who has been homeless for 5 years, lives under a bridge in Tucson, AZ. She called that Louie wasn’t putting weight on his front left leg. POTH paid for an examination and Louie had an unknown foreign body in his paw. We paid to have him sedated so that the vet could remove the foreign body, clip and clean the small wound. He was also administered an antibiotic injection and was sent home with more antibiotics and pain meds. He has to wear an E-collar for a while until his paw heals.
