In a homeless encampment, pets provide more than comfort

It was a cool, gray day in early March when I step inside Tent City 3. For the next eight days, I would be staying at the city-sanctioned homeless encampment, then located in the Central District, as part of an ongoing documentary project called Everything to Me.
