Today, we have a unique success story to share with you. Meet Hero:Hi, I’m Hero.I’m a 2-year-old Lop mix rabbit, and I live in a tent with my dad. We’ve been experiencing homelessness for about two years now. My dad gives me my own cozy space filled with hay, treats and love; he even lets me have half the tent!Recently, my dad noticed I was uncomfortable and didn’t want to be touched near my back legs. My fur was matting, and I just wasn’t acting like myself. He knew something wasn’t right and reached out to his outreach coordinator for help.That’s how we found Feeding Pets of the Homeless.After a quick phone interview, I was approved to see a veterinarian. Thankfully, it turned out my condition was treatable. The vet trimmed away the matted fur, cleaned me up and gave me updated vaccines to keep me healthy. They even said I was in great shape; probably because my dad feeds me nothing but fresh fruits and veggies!Now I’m hopping around again, feeling comfortable, safe and so grateful to be by my dad’s side.💙 Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $660.13 toward my care.Donate today to help more pets like Hero! ...
