Let Chili’s in Carson City do the cooking on June 1 to support Pets of the Homeless.

The restaurant, at 3784 U.S. Highway 395 S., will donate 15 percent of sales made from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to the nonprofit that provides food and other services to the homeless for their pets.

To participate, mention “Pets of the Homeless Give Back” to your server.

Funds will benefit Pets of the Homeless’ four programs, which are free to homeless guardians of pets across the country.

The programs have provided pet food, emergency veterinary care, wellness clinics and sleeping pet crates for homeless shelters since 2008.
