Today on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the woman whose compassion sparked the beginning of Feeding Pets of the Homeless, Genevieve Frederick.Years ago, while visiting New York City, Genevieve noticed a man experiencing homelessness with a beautiful, devoted dog beside him. The dog wasn’t on a leash and could have run away at any time, yet he stayed close to the person he loved.That moment stayed with her long after she returned home.
