Hi, my name is Udonathan Mothra, but my family calls me Udon.
I’m a 6-year-old tabby cat living with my family in Kentucky. We are currently experiencing homelessness, but we are facing each day together. I spend my time keeping my human brother company while my mom works hard to find us a safe and stable place to call home.
One day, I started having trouble going to the bathroom. I was straining to urinate, and soon there was blood in my urine. My mom had seen these symptoms before with another cat and knew I needed help right away.
She reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless and completed an application for assistance. After a brief review, I was approved to see a veterinarian.
The vet ran tests and confirmed I had a urinary blockage that required emergency surgery. Thankfully, they were able to get me into surgery quickly before my condition became even more serious.
Now I’m back with my family, getting plenty of rest and feeling better every day. Having my mom and brother by my side has made all the difference.
Thanks to supporters like you, Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $800 toward my veterinary care.
A message from my mom:
“He’s definitely back to his old happy self. You wouldn’t even know how sick he was. My son was so happy to have him back…Thank you so much for saving his life.”
Your support helps pets like me receive lifesaving veterinary care and stay with the families who love us most.
