They’d Do Anything for Their Pets—So We Showed Up for Them

Our team partnered with local organizations to bring essential veterinary care directly to the pets of those experiencing homelessness and hardship in Reno, NV. Held at St. Vincent’s Dining Room parking lot, the Free Pet Wellness Clinic provided exams, vaccines, microchips, spay/neuter vouchers, pet food, and even flu shots for humans—all at no cost.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Galena Veterinary Hospital, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, Nevada Humane Society, Washoe County Housing & Homeless Services, and Northern Nevada Public Health, the event served 148 pets and their people.

For many, a clinic like this is more than just medical care—it’s a moment of dignity, relief, and love. Every tail wag and grateful hug reminded us why this work matters.

🧡 Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and partners who made it possible.
