Tak

Tak’s owner, who is a homeless male living in a travel trailer in Sun Valley, NV called POTH that his dog Tak, a 7 year old neutered pit bull had fluid in his ears. POTH assisted with an exam, blood work, sedation, surgery and medications. Apparently the fluid in Tak’s ears caused Tak to keep shaking his head so much that it caused a hematoma. The blood pocket that formed in his ear needed to be surgically removed. On August 26, Tak’s owner called again that the hematoma had returned. A valued local Reno veterinary hospital assisted again, at a reduced fee due to the limited amount of assistance we had remaining for this individual dog because of the first surgery POTH paid for. They drained the hematoma and administered medications to continue to help clear the fluid in Tak’s ears.
