Success Story: Charlie Bear

Success Story: Charlie Bear

A woman has been homeless for the past year living in her vehicle. She is a disabled veteran and receives VA disability along with food stamps. She reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for her 6-month-old Golden Retriever, Charlie Bear.

Charlie Bear is her registered service animal, is intact and has all his vaccinations. He had started limping on his front paw which made her reach out.

An intake was completed and homeless verification was provided. We approved an exam with a Partner Animal Hospital. Following the exam, medications were provided for inflammation.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $92.00 towards Charlie Bears care.
