Success Story – Blaize

A homeless woman in Fresno, CA called Pets of the Homeless™. She had been in a shelter, but most recently was in a motel for four days. She is disabled and receives SSI benefits. She called concerned about her one-month-old female Husky puppy, Blaize. Blaize fell and was limping. We verified her homelessness and approved an examination at a participating network veterinarian.

After the exam, the veterinarian recommended and we approved: x-rays, pain injection, vaccinations, eight weeks worth of splint changes and medications. We assisted with $244.00 for Blaize.

"From one animal lover to another."
