Smokey’s owner, a female who lives in shelters and sometimes stays with friends in Portland, OR, called POTH that her five year old neutered pit bull had bumps on his stomach for an extended time now. They are red and inflamed and Smokey keeps scratching at them.
Smokey had a secondary skin infection from flea bites. POTH paid for an examination, flea medications, antibiotics, and a steroid medication. He was also given a complimentary dental exam at no charge.
