A homeless man and woman who live in their camper in Southern CA had three 12-week old pit bull puppies who were coughing and very lethargic. POTH paid for examinations for the pups and all three were diagnosed with worms. In addition, Rosco had pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. He was administered iv fluids, Vitamin B12 and antibiotic injections. POTH also paid for x-rays, dewormer meds, and special food for Rosco.
