Rhino Dean Halbert Case 652 1

Rhino

Rhino, a 3 year old neutered male Shar Pei, was examined at the Albuquerque, NM free Wellness clinic on September 26, 2015. All of his vaccinations were updated and upon examination by a participating Veterinarian, Aztec Animal Clinic noted that Rhino had an ear infection. Aztec referred his owner, a male who sleeps in his car at night and utilizes the local shelter for his daily needs, to call POTH and ask if we would assist with Rhino’s ear meds.
We talked with the Clinic and verified Rhino needed meds. He was not in need of another exam since he was given one for free on Saturday, so his owner needed to just drop by and pick up the ear antibiotics that POTH paid for. The veterinarian recommended that Rhino come in for a recheck at the regular Wednesday clinic in two weeks.
His owner was very grateful for the Free Clinic sponsored by POTH as well as us assisting with the medication. Rhino was also given a free collar, harness and jacket.
