A homeless woman who lives in a shelter in Riverside CA was referred to POTH by Lori Rich of “Taking it to the Streets with Lori and Shira.” Her dog, Mamas, a 10 month old female Cattle Dog mix was limping and not putting weight on her front paw. Pets of the Homeless paid for an examination and x-ray and it was determined Mamas has a crack in her right shoulder. Dr. said it should heal with lots of cage rest. Mamas was given an antibiotic to prevent infection in the bone, pain injection and sent home with pain medications.
