A Reno, NV veterinary office assistant called POTH asking for help with a 5 year old female lab mix, Grrr, who had large red sores on its hind area. Grrr lives outside with her female owner.
POTH paid for a skin scrape and cytology which came back negative for mange. The doctor thinks it may be arthritis, and wants to see Grrr back in a couple of weeks for a re-check. POTH paid for wound care, medicated shampoo, antibiotics, prednisone and NexGard.
