A sneak peek of this month’s newsletter is the story about a 2nd grade class in Los Angeles. They were learning about people who made a difference in our world like Rachel Carson and Cesar Chavez. They then learned about Genevieve Frederick and Feeding Pets of the Homeless. The kids brought in dog and cat food to show they could make a difference too! They donated 38 pounds of dry dog food, 13 pounds of dry cat food, 39 cans of wet dog food, and 24 cans of wet cat food. The donations were delivered to the Valley Food Bank in Pacoima, California.
