A homeless woman from Riverside, CA called POTH from a shelter, her dog “Baby Girl” a pit bull might have been hit by a car. Baby Girl was missing for 5 days and came back with major injuries. POTH paid $500 for surgery and hospitalization. Dog suffered from a lot of abrasions. The veterinarian had to suture some of them and scrubbed & cleaned the other wounds.
