An animal hospital in Costa Mesa, CA contacted Pets of the Homeless to help a homeless woman’s dog that was attacked by another dog. “Curly” suffered from a huge gash on his cheek. Surgery was needed, as well as a drain and medications. The homeless woman was able to scrape up $100 towards the invoice. The woman and Curly returned to their RV.
