Rain’s homeless owner is a male who washes windows and lives in his car in the Southern CA area. Rain is a 9-year old female miniature pinscher who had been diagnosed with pyometra and needed surgery ASAP. Pyometra is a uterine infection, though it is most commonly known as a disease of the unaltered female dog.  POTH paid for an examination, a CHEM panel, blood work and x-rays. The FACE Foundation assisted with the remainder of Rain’s surgery and treatment.
