Find a Pet Food Donation Site

Our pet food donation site volunteers support our objective of collecting pet food and pet supplies. They are working with pet food providers who have agreed to distribute pet food in those communities.

Make a Donation

Your donation can make the lives of these pets a little easier. Each day is a struggle for those experiencing homelessness, and their pets have little recourse. We are their voice, and you can be their hero.

Become a Sponsor

If providing support for pets of the homeless and ensuring access to emergency veterinary care is important to your company or organization, please consider sponsoring Feeding Pets of the Homeless. As a dedicated nonprofit organization, we rely on grants, sponsors, and donations to help pets in need across the nation.  Importantly, we do not receive any government funding, so your support is crucial.

Evidence shows that animal companionship is fortifying and contributes to the emotional well-being of people experiencing homelessness, including encouraging owners to obtain sobriety, leave abusive relationships, and avoid incarceration.

Hi, my name is Scorpio. I am a 4-year-old female Pit Lab mix. My mom is disabled and trying to get into housing. We are currently living in a motel that has been converted into a homeless shelter. At the shelter, I was attacked by another dog. I had scratches all over my body and a cut on my right leg. My mom was worried it might be infected; it had pus coming out and was swollen. She looked on the internet to find financial help. It was there that she came across Feeding Pets of the Homeless. After speaking with a case manager, my mom was able to take me to a veterinarian nearby. There, I received wound care, antibiotics and pain medication. Thanks to Feeding Pets of the Homeless, I am now back home with my mom and recovering.Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed a total of $736 towards Scorpio’s care.Email received from Scorpio's mom during treatment: "I just can't express how much this means to me and how much I appreciate everything you have done for me, I was lost, ready to give up but by the grace of God you came through and have blessed me, I am here at the vet waiting patiently for my baby to be seen and hoping for the best thank you again." ...
